KAMRAN CHOWDHURY and CIAN Ó FAOLÁIN like this
Post by ROBIN WILEY on Dec 9, 2017 18:26:42 GMT -5
With power came great responsibility, or in Robin’s case, with a somewhat of a power trip that @uther was going on after discovering that CIAN Ó FAOLÁIN ’s file did not state he was a werewolf, came lots of new responsibilities for Robin. While she had volunteered for some of these things, such as scheduling his floor to help Cian avoid the full moon, some of the other things felt like a test. Robin had not volunteered for the personnel review boards she was now took place on Saturday. Robin was not upset that she was working Saturday. She often did, because it made sense for her life to take any day of the week. She had never been one in a career that was privy to the weekends off. Often working doubles or switching from day to overnights with just enough time to sleep between shifts and maybe scarf a meal in the break room. Everyone did that to themselves sometimes. Robin just had made a career out of such actions. The first review board had happened today, and they had gotten through files after files, seeing if there was anyone that was missing something from their file. Robin felt a little dirty looking at someone else’s file. These were tasks usually left for those in charge and of all the things Robin felt right now, in charge was not one of them. She made schedules for her floor and trained new healers, but she had never felt in charge. Despite Uther saying that she might be a natural born leader, she was not sure she wanted this kind of responsibility if it meant knowing everything about everyone without their personal knowledge. That was what felt dirty. Nobody had divulged this information to her of their own free will. Robin did not feel like going home yet until she could process what had just happened. So, instead, she wandered the hallways almost absent mindedly, seeing if she could be of some help. Robin was afraid her eyes would betray her kind gesture, tell others she was guilty of knowing their files. This task was going to be harder than she thought and she wished she could talk to someone other than Uther about the process. Though she could not for there were personal files for a reason, they shouldn’t be public knowledge, no matter how much she wished to bounce all this swarming in her head off her best friend. Robin, needing a friendly face, so she ventured down to Kam’s floor hoping to catch him free for a moment. When she wasn’t as lucky with finding him on the floor, she waited around the mediwitch and mediwizard station until she could catch him. “Tea break?” she asked when she saw him her eyes hopeful and her smile warm just feeling more relaxed seeing his face, knowing that the pair of them probably looked the most sleep deprived pair in the floor. ”If you ask real nicely, I’ll even share my chocolate biscuits with you.” |
