If you want your characters to have abilities, you will need to purchase them through the Galleon shop. Staff approval is required for abilities. There is a limit of three (3) abilities per character regardless of whether you have enough galleons to purchase more.

All applications need to be realistic. For example, if you want to make a student an animagus, they cannot be too young and you need to have a good explanation for how they acquired this ability since it is very advanced magic.

Book canons are not exempt from the guidelines stated above. They still count toward your overall total (15). The only exception is that book canons get their canon abilities free, but you must still apply for all abilities and cannot have more than three (3) abilities even on a canon character.

Beside each ability is the amount of galleons needed to purchase that ability. Rarer abilities are more expensive and require staff permission. You must post in the Galleon Shop BEFORE you post in the Abilities Registry.

Members are allowed a total of fifteen abilities (15) across all characters -- no exceptions. You may not purchase any more slots.
