One of the things that Eliza liked about her job was that it allowed her to leave the office every now and again. As an accounts manager, not only did she oversee the various jobs that Gringotts did outside of the bank, involving the cursebreakers that were employed by the famed wizard bank, but she also got to venture out to various locations like the Ministry and St. Mungo's to obtain financial information should it ever be needed.
That was how she had found herself at the Ministry of Magic that afternoon. It was her last stop of the day and she was looking forward to picking up some takeaway and maybe watching a movie when she got home. she had left the financial office of the Ministry and was heading through the Atrium towards security to check out when the strap on her bag broke and fell to the floor.
She stopped immediately and dropped to the ground to start picking things up when a heavier body fell over her. "Oh my word!" she said as she tried to move herself out of the way as the figure fell forward. She didn't want to get squished, though she felt bad that she had caused someone to trip over her entire body. She hadn't realized anyone was that close to her, but, apparently, there had been.
"I am so sorry. Are you all right?" she asked as she scooped up the last of her stuff and stuck it back into her bag. She hoped she hadn't caused any pain to the man she had now turned her attention on. She paused for a second as she gazed at him. He looked sort of familiar, but she could not recall knowing him. Maybe he just had that sort of face… maybe.
