 The opposite of Hector. Dorian was a popular Gryffindor in school, surrounded by friends. But he always made time for his little brother, making sure nobody was giving him a hard time. He is protective of Hector, but he wants him to get out of his comfort zone and live a little. Like the majority of the Tully children, he is social and fun-loving, but unlike Felicia and Dorian, he doesn't push Hector. Maybe Gavin was like Hector once, before he started school, made friends and toughened up. Hector usually goes to Dorian when he has a problem, but the things he even can't tell Dorian, he tells Gavin. Gavin will listen and give him sound advice. Hector has a lot of respect for him. Poppy believes he used to be a pirate and considers him her best friend. He hangs out at her lighthouse and likes to peep at her in the shower. Poppy knows he does it, but she doesn't really care. They go on adventures together, and Poppy talks to him about everything. Candice is one of Poppy's closest friends. They went to Durmstrang together, and back then, Candice was an angry person. She has a bit of a temper, and was constantly teased about her size in school. As a result, she put a protective shield around herself and became reclusive. Of course, Poppy decided they should be friends the minute she laid eyes on the tall woman, and Poppy is nothing if not determined. Poppy defended Candice to the bullies, and in return, Candice beat people up for her when they gave her trouble for her quirky personality. They have been friends since, and like anyone Poppy considers a friend, Candice will be talked into all kinds of adventure. Reginald is an awkward man, and disastrous at pool (though he doesn't seem to realize how bad he is at it). He met Poppy and Taj in a bar when he was hogging the pool table and Poppy accepted the challenge to guess his name right in exchange for the pool table, and the only clue given was that it started with an R. Her first guess was Rufio, which was wrong. But he was known as Not-Rufio from that point on. The whole point of Not-Rufio is that he is a socially awkward, skinny nerd. He's probably a lightweight. But it's thanks to his unwillingness to share the pool table that Poppy and Taj got totally shitfaced and decided to have babies on a whim and get married, so they owe the creation of their family to him really. Taj will probably ask him to be his best man. They also named their child Rufio. |
 "CORA" BRIGGS 25-26 ▶︎ muggle ▶︎ job open ▶︎ Logan Browning Cora is a snake in many ways. She held her jealousy and hate of her sister secret for years, biding her time until she found the perfect opportunity to hurt Hazel. She jumped in bed with Hazel's husband, effectively ruining their marriage. She has been jealous of her sister ever since Hazel started showing signs of having magic. It was not fair that Hazel would get such an advantage over her, and her resentment only grew when Hazel received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. This has ruined magic for her (maybe she will join Perniciem?). Cora also hates how successful and popular Hazel is and wants to become better than her in every way, at any cost. Cora doesn't care how many backs she has to stab in order to get what she wants. Naturally, her relationship with Hazel is in tatters. Hazel refuses to speak to her, or even see her. Cora is manipulative however, so it's up to you if you want to try to convince Hazel that everything was the husband's fault and that he tricked Cora. Or, if you want her to still be seeing the husband, maybe she tried to convince Hazel that they fell in love and they both went for it, but that she regrets not coming to her first. Idk, I just think it would be fun if Cora tried to win her trust back (to use against her later of course, because she still hates Hazel's guts). If you want to add to her personality, feel free to. Cora doesn't only have bad sides. This is the ex-husband who broke her heart. He did the unforgivable and slept with Cora. Maybe he was drunk, maybe he thinks Cora is beautiful and it was too tempting to resist, maybe he's sorry about it, maybe he's not. Whatever his excuses are, they aren't good enough. Hazel hexed his ass and immediately got in touch with a lawyer to start working on the divorce papers. Would he come crawling back, begging for forgiveness? Or is he openly seeing Cora now? Is he fighting Hazel for custody over their cat Mushu? This is all up to you. Personality wise, he'd need to be funny and confident. Hazel wouldn't have married a boring person. But he's also not as kind as she thought, if he was capable of hurting her so badly after years of friendship and marriage. |  "DELFINA" PERINI 32 ▶︎ Italian ▶︎halfblood ▶︎ Beauxbatons graduate ▶︎ artist / open ▶︎ Emmy Rossum Delfina is Fabiano's older sister. They used to have a good relationship, until she announced that she would be moving to London to pursue her career (used to be art but you can give her a different job alongside that) which would leave their poor mother all alone in Italy. Her move forced Fab to make the difficult decision to drop everything and move back to Italy to be closer to their mother as he didn't want his mother to make any more sacrifices in life — such as moving away from her homeland. He was of the opinion that Delfina could work on her art from Italy and saw her move to London as selfish. Their relationship has been a bit strained since then. |
