PERSONALITY Zoe is very much one to live in the moment. She believes that life should be lived to the fullest, and does just that. She likes what she likes, loves who she was and refuses to be judged for it. She enjoys the thrill of a good story, whether it be telling it, discovering it and on occasion even living it. She's never been one to put too much stake in tomorrow. Besides, it'll get here soon enough. Zoe is fiercely loyal and protective of the people she cares about. And likewise, she rarely keeps her opinion on how they live their lives to herself. If she doesn't like it, she'll let you know. The one exception to that rule could be her sister, whom it seems can do no wrong in the eyes of anyone. She is living the life that she always wanted, however, a photojournalist for the Daily Prophet. It was something that her grandmother did before moving to America, and she is proud to be reliving the legacy of the woman that blazed that very trail.

HISTORY Zoe Carver grew up amazed by the feats of her grandmother, Annaliese Carver. The woman was nothing more than a cub reporter and photographer shortly before the Wizarding War. Yet, she was groomed to be one of the greatest, at least in the eyes of her granddaughter. She and her husband eventually moved to the United States so that they could raise their family free of the horrors that began to brew in the United Kingdom. She continued her career at The New York Ghost. Zoe grew up enthused by the wonders of her grandmother's stories. She even took up photography at an early age, making it clear that the youngest Carver girl was set to follow in her steps. When she was eleven, she displayed her first signs of Magic and the following year she enrolled at Salem. While there she managed decent grades, but displayed an affinity for both Charms and Transfiguration. She even joined the school newspaper which paved the way for what was inevitable. Upon graduating for Salem, Zoe found a job at the New York Ghost. It didn't take long for her to prove that the apple didn't fall very far from the tree. Like her mother, she too was a photojournalist and quickly found herself involved with several stories that won the eye of the editor of the Daily Prophet back in the United Kingdom. It was truly a dream come true when the opportunity came. Zoe had already traveled to several places all over the world for the sake of a story, but this... this was chasing her dream. She almost felt as if she were asking her grandmother's permission when she told her about the opportunity, but she got nothing but the elder Carver's blessings to pursue it. And that's what she did. With her bags packed, and a dear friend in tow, Zoe made her way to London where she would pick up where her grandmother left off, working at the Daily Prophet. | ||||||||
