ever since i left the city
you got a reputation for yourself now
everybody knows and i feel left out

[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]Midori's lips curled into a slight smile as Jónas seemed to shrug off her rather unnatural behavior. It seemed that he was used to it, certainly more so than she. It was one thing to know about a Veela's charm, but to actually be on the receiving end of it...? She wasn't comfortable with the idea of it, but that didn't mean that she wasn't enjoying Jónas' company. And it seemed that he didn't mind hers, especially if his 'cursed' charms got him more of her attention.
He commented that he still wasn't sure that he could do her job as well as she, though allowed for the possibility of time and practice. Midori smirked at the concession. "So, does this mean you're considering a possible career change already?" she teased him. She paused for a moment, and then continued. "Either way, before you decide to get out of the charming business, I'd still like to take advantage of your talents."
She set her cup down at his table. "So, when do you think you'd be free to talk?" she asked. "As well as show me some of your work. After all, an executive producer needs to be able to tell if the talent is even worth her time." She had delivered the sentence with a playful smirk on her face. She certainly hadn't meant anything malicious by it, and hoped that Jónas didn't read anything from it other than a playful jest.
