A groan escaped Jónas' lips as he hung up his apron and let out a yawn. "Mira, I'm headin' out for the day," he told his coworker, who nodded her head. "The orders should all be ready for tomorrow so if anyone stops by early, they should be able to pick it up. If anyone gives you trouble, tell them they can talk to me in the morning, all right?" He asked as he left. She nodded her head in understanding and all but shooed him out the door. He let out a chuckle and shook his head. Despite her young age, Mira was excellent at her job, and tended to mother her older co-worker. Well, if you could call him that. Technically he had been promoted to supervisory status, but all the same, he didn't like to think of himself as well.
He was only moved to that spot because he could perform the hard metal work and charm metal so the owner and managers didn't need to be around as often to babysit him.
The half Veela let Heart of Steel and made his way to a tea shop that had become his absolute favorite. He ignored the odd looks as he made his way down the Alley. They were really only looking at him oddly if they were new. Most people in the Alley knew Jónas and knew what he did for a living so him walking down the street covered in soot and dust was no surprise.
He stepped into the Muddy Cup smiling. He waved to the person behind the counter as he approached, making sure to stand in line before it was his turn. He asked for his usual which consisted of earl grey with a chocolate chip scone. He thanked them once he had it, and paid, and then made his way over to a table with a few chairs around it, seeing that the Muddy Cup wasn't all that busy and started to decompress after a long day on his feet.
