Willis would probably care simply because: would't most guys? Humans were a possessive species; even if Willis trusted his girlfriend, Fab was almost certain that some part of Willis would itch to clock him in the face for hitting on her. Fab didn't want to test that theory, however.
He laughed. "Not for having a conversation maybe, but we both know that I was five seconds from asking you out." he teased. She made a good point though, Naomi would be most at fault if something had happened.
"Unless I stole a kiss before you had a chance to tell me you had a boyfriend.
But the mere thought was absurd. Consent was very important to him and he had not once kissed a girl he wasn't sure wanted him to. Fab shook his head, chuckling softly. "If I did something douchey like that, I'd frankly deserve to be pushed off a broom or punched in the face."
Being pushed off a broom would also have been fair if he hadn't been single, seeing as he had been flirting with Naomi. "I wouldn't have been flirting with you otherwise," he said seriously. Cheaters disgusted him; his deadbeat father was a cheater and Fab had sworn that he would never become like him. His tone softened as he continued, jokingly adding, "Good to know. I'll make sure to bring Willis along the next time I'm out on the pull."
Fab wasn't a love them and leave them type of guy. He wanted a relationship, but he wasn't in a hurry. His main focus was quidditch and would continue to be quidditch for at least a few more years until he made it to a bigger league.
