Thanks to a collaborative effort between the British Ministry and many unsung heroes, the recent reign of terror that labored its shores was defeated. The hate of Perniciem has fallen, with many of its members apprehended and prosecuted. Their definitive defeat caused the members of Ìonacht to disband and wither back into their shadows, unable to stand against such a grand show of force and harmony.

Thus, it marks the beginning of a Silver Age for the Magical Community. The desire to unite the magical and Muggle worlds is renewed. And, in the spirit of this very sentiment, the International Confederation of Wizards has agreed to form the Concordia Festival.

This triannual festival is a compilation of the magical world's most exotic events and attractions open to the muggle public, including, but not limited to, Wizarding and Quidditch tournaments, magical creatures and mystical cuisines. The Concordia Festival's Inaugural host site will naturally be the United Kingdom, in London.

Camden was a humble man who didn’t take things for granted, but he was also an honest man, which is why he answered Keith’s question with a simple: “Aye.” He had a good track record, having helped put many criminals behind bars since he joined the force, despite his relatively young age. It wasn’t an unfair question at all in Camden’s opinion, if a little subjective. But Keith seemed to think so, and asked him a different question – one that should be a little easier to answer. However, this one took Camden a little while.

“Well...” he said, pausing to sip his tea for a moment as he chose his words. “I was really into superheroes when I was wee – I think my interest in crime fighting started then. But I’ve always wanted to do something that made a difference, you know?” As he got older, the idea of becoming an auror solidified, and when it came time to choose a career path, he chose the career that he had always fantasized about. “It wasn’t a difficult choice,” he finished with a shrug.

"How about you? Did you always want to be a magizoologist?"

If he was really interested in that sort of thing, couldn't he have joined a carnival or street show? Still he listened on, especially as he said that he wanted to make a difference. Keith had to wonder if there was something more behind that explanation. Exactly what sort of difference was he hoping to make? Of course, as a stranger, perhaps Keith didn't have the right to ask that of Camden. He simply nodded, taking the young man's explanation to heart.

That was when the tables turned, and Keith found himself on the other end of the same question. "Something similar to that," Keith stated, "making a difference and all." He took a deep breath. "People get the chance to speak their mind: how they feel... what they want." Shaking his head, Keith went on. "Animals... not so much. And there are people that take advantage of that silence. I just think they deserve an advocate of their own."

It was only after it left his lips that Keith realized how much like a hippee tree-hugger he sounded like. And for the most part, Keith's words were true to heart. It just didn't hurt to make a little cash for doing something you loved, right? "Did I always want to be one...? If I'm honest... I don't know. At this point, would it even matter if there was something else?"

When Cam went to his aunt and uncle’s house to get his phone, he hadn’t known that he would be spending over an hour talking about his childhood with a stranger, and he certainly hadn’t expected to be laughing at said stranger's jokes. “The quirky outfits weren't what grabbed my attention,” Cam said with a chuckle, “Superheroes kicked arse. Baby Camden respected that.”

Six year old Camden had wanted to save people like Spider-Man, and though his methods weren’t nearly as impressive and fantastic as Spidey’s, he got what he wanted: he saved people almost every day through his job. And there was thankfully no spandex involved.

He asked Keith why he had chosen the career he had, and received a similar response.

"So you wanted to be an animal whisperer, got it,” Cam said, taking the same teasing tone as Keith had. “Jokes aside, I think it’s great what you’re doing. People forget that just because animals can’t talk it doesn’t mean they don’t suffer.” Keith clearly liked animals, which made Camden wonder how he would react if he showed him his animagus form. He wouldn’t, but it was fun to imagine Keith’s reaction if he suddenly found himself having tea with a dachshund.

Camden sipped his tea and shrugged. “Why wouldn’t it matter? Life’s too short to settle for something that makes you miserable,” he said, giving him a meaningful look. They were just talking about Moira. “If there’s something else you want to do, I say go for it.”
