[attr="class","title1"]creating your wand
[attr="class","title2"]various ways to pick and choose your character's wand
[attr="class","subtext"]
The wand makes the wizard (or witch), or rather the wizard makes the wand. However you see it, a wand is a tool you need to master magic. It harness the power of magic into one spell, unlocks the potential inside all of us. Now, you just need to know where and how your wand will be made.
The length of the wand matters on your physical form actually. Like the giant Hagrid, his wand was unusually long while short peoples’ wands will be short. If your fingers and long, then the wand will be slender and long. If your soul is twisted, your wand’s wood will be splitter and twisted in places.
Wands can also be passed down by family members as the magical signature is close to the original owner. As a wizard and witch grows up and their personality and life changes, so does their wand. Once the old wand does not function all that much, then it is time to get a replacement wand. Your actions speak for the wand.

[attr="class","subhead1"]types of wood
[attr="class","subhead2"]others can be picked, if you choose
[attr="class","subtext"]
COMMON: Ash, Willow, Maple, and Walnut.
UNCOMMON: Mahogany, Birch, Yew, Rosewood, and Cherry.
RARE: Hornbeam, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Chestnut, Elder, Holly, and Vine.
These wand types are not picked due to how great the wizard or witch is or will become. It is usually (not always) when they are born under the Celtic calendar. Other nations will use other calendars to determine the wood of the wand. But English wizarding provinces normally use the Celtic calendar.
